Checklist: is my ontology ready for the AI agent?

Conventions and structure

  • Nodes in English UPPER_CASE
  • Relations in English lower_case_underscore
  • Unique relation names in the ontology
  • Attributes in English lower_case_underscore
  • Each relation reads as subject-verb-object

Documentation for the AI agent (critical)

  • All profiles: main information filled in on each node
  • All profiles: main information filled in on each relation
  • All profiles: main information filled in on each node attribute
  • All profiles: main information filled in on each relation attribute
  • Basic and Expert profiles: semantic information filled in on each node
  • Basic and Expert profiles: semantic information filled in on each relation

Validation and governance

  • Business questions tested with the AI agent
  • AI agent answers checked and correct
  • No major concept missing
  • reference_standard filled in if a reconciliation is planned
  • No loops in the graph (A → B → C → A)
  • Ontology completeness rate checked with the Coverage / Readiness feature
