Knowledge Graph
Do not confuse Ontology and Knowledge Graph: the model and its use
Two notions not to be confused. The ontology defines the data model, that is, the types of concepts and their relations, independently of any real data (e.g. EMPLOYEE holds POSITION). The Knowledge Graph is this same model instantiated with real data. For example, “Julie Martin” is a concrete instance of EMPLOYEE. It is this Knowledge Graph, filled with real data, that the AI agent queries to ground its answers in the reality of the business domain.
